CAPACITY

500 lbs

With it’s rigid base, the Physio-Trace patient fall sling is designed for horizontal transfers when a regular sling is considered inappropriate due to the patient’s medical conditions. The fall sling is to be used for transfers in combination with a lifter, to lift a patient from a floor or a bed. The fibre coated wood base keeps the patient in a horizontal position and minimizes movement. With it’s 6 straps, (4 regular top straps and 2 bottom adjustable straps) this sling can be used with most of the existing floor and ceiling lifts while minimizing staff effort.

With an agitated patient or when using a ceiling lift, the sling may become unstable. We recommend that you stabilize the sling by using the red handles on each side in combination with the lift. In an emergency situation it is also possible to lift the patient man widget ually by using the red side handles. Before manual lifting you may want to make sure that your organisation allows staff to do so. Before we manually transfer the patient it is important to insert all blue straps in the red loops and to have 4 to 6 people for lifting
